The rehearsal and dinner on Friday night were pretty chill. Afterwards Jake came over to the APT and chilled with us one last time as a bachelor. The next day went by fast for me, I cant imagine how it went for Jake and Sheena. Those of us in the wedding party were supposed to be there at eleven for pictures, so of course I slept through my alarm and strolled in at eleven. It was cool though, I did a uniform race and was ready to roll in my tux at 1102. Went kinda slow until people started piling in for the 1430 weddin. Standing up there with Jake and Sheena was such an honor. I was experiencing a torrent of emotions that I was almost confused. I was so very happy for those two to finally be tying the knot, but kinda sad to know that a phase of my life of chillin with Schloobs was drawing to a close. Nevertheless it was a great wedding.

On top of all of this, I had the distinct honor of driving the newlyweds from the church to the hotel for the reception. As well as the honor of sitting at Jake's right hand at the wedding party table during dinner.

Now most people may say that being 21 and 20 is too young to be getting married . . . and usually I am going to be the one to say it. I really dont think you should be getting married until you are around 25ish. My reasons for this are simple, most people do not mature to a level where they can be a good spouse until they are there. If someone turned it around on me I would agree with them wholeheartedly that I am too young to be getting married. The great thing about Jake-Sheena is that they have attained that level of maturity. I wish them both the best and know that they will have an everlasting and fruitful marriage that is blessed by God.
